Synopsis
Dea Gjinovci, who grew up in Geneva, knows nothing about Kosovo—her parents' homeland—except for the stories told by her father Asllan: idealized childhood memories of green hills, warm evenings, the taste of ripe pears, and the beauty of the donkey in the stable.
But these images froze in time on the day when, in the midst of war, a phone call informed Asllan of his mother's death. It was a shock that plunged the family's memories into silence.
Years later, Dea returns to her father's home village with him and a small film crew.
