Synopsis

The initial idea behind the 2000 collection seen by... was simple: ask filmmakers from around the world to give their vision of the transition to the year 2000. There was only one constraint: each filmmaker had to represent the transition to the third millennium by including the night of December 31, 1999, in their story. Ten directors from ten countries on four continents took part in this major international co-production. Through ten 60-minute TV movies, the collection maps the world at a turning point that crystallizes both fears and hopes.
