Hair

Claude Bukowski, a young farmer from Oklahoma, receives a draft notice for Vietnam. He stops in New York for a few days before leaving for a military training camp in Nevada. The young man befriends Berger, Jeanne, Ouaf, and Lafayette, hippies who live in Central Park. They introduce him to the extravagant and rebellious life of New York City. The film is marked by protest and denunciation, sexual liberation, and anti-militarism.
