Synopsis
At the dawn of the 20th century, in a brothel in Paris, a prostitute has a scar on her face that forms a tragic smile. Around the laughing woman, the lives of the other girls unfold, with their rivalries, fears, joys, and sorrows... We know nothing about the outside world. The house is closed.
