Synopsis
Manifesto brings together futurist, Dadaist, and Situationist manifestos, as well as the thoughts of artists, architects, dancers, and filmmakers such as Sol LeWitt, Yvonne Rainer, and Jim Jarmusch. Through 13 characters, including a primary school teacher, a television news presenter, a factory worker, and a homeless man, Cate Blanchett recites these composite manifestos to test the meaning of these historical texts in our contemporary world.
